|Lauren joined Biovac in February 2011 and holds the role of Chief Human Capital Officer. She is an invitee of the Board and a member of the Biovac Executive team.|
Her mandate is:
- To facilitate our human capital’s transition into a commercial manufacturing culture.
- To establish and maintain a strong people effectiveness infrastructure through competitive, sound & sustainable principles and practices that are aligned to the unique profile of Biovac.
- To create and maintain a learning economy in terms of aseptic vaccine manufacturing.
- To spearhead the attraction, development, succession and retention of Biovac’s internal and external talent pool.
Lauren obtained her Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Cape Town in 2000. She has a range of further certifications, including Organisational Development, Leadership Development and Transformation.
Her HR career spans over more than 20 years in industry. Prior to joining Biovac she held the role of National HR Manager at Nedbank. She has held various positions with key blue chip companies such as Safmarine, Maersk Sealand, Transunion and the Litha Healthcare Group. With her diverse industry knowledge across Financial Services and Banking, Shipping, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical sectors, she has developed strong expertise across the full spectrum of Human Capital Leadership.
